My Life

i was given eyes to see different colors
but all i can see is darkness.
i was given ears to listen melodies,
but all i get to hear is tinnitus.


i was given sleep so that i can dream,
but all i can see is nightmares.
i was given heart to love somebody,
but all i can do is to wait for it to skip a beat.


i was given legs to run
but all i can do is crawl.
i was given hands so that i could work,
but all i can do is pray with them so that nobody gets a life like mine.

when i die,
will this journey be worthy to be called a life or just a lie.

The Day When Earth Stood Still

well it started as a normal day in my abnormal life. i got up late as usual at around 11 am :) .took a bath , had my breakfast , well not actually breakfast as it was 12 by the time i had my food so i can call it brunch. after that i was sitting wella as i usually am . so thought of surfing the net, and in doing so i found an article regarding IT companies it said that all the students who have been placed in this companies don't have there future secured as these companies might not take them due to the recession in USA and the falling rate of Dollar. so all my dreams which were in the makin for the past 3-4 months were thrashed. so i was sitting alone in my room just thinking what will happen to my future. so i called up few of my friends who were also placed , they didnt even knew about it ( they must be abusing me for telling them about this). So i just asked them about there future plans, what will they do if they don't get a call from these companies, well most of them had an answer or i can say a beginning to the answer , as most of them had joined a coaching institue and were preparing for CAT, and some of them were preparing for GRE and IELTS as they were thinking of going abroad and the rest didnt had any idea what to do, well i was pleased that actually somebody was there wid me ;), so after talking to my friends i got even more confused what to do .all i got after talking to them was either i study for cat or i prepare for gre. now i was never in favour of joining coaching classes for mba ever in my life , as i think its the most useless thing , its just another way of earning money by making people fool. so i was left with preparing for cat myself or go on with GRE. now gre is not a small thing either you should be born rich or you should born intelligent to get such good marks in order to go there with scholarships , well unfortunately i don't fall in any of the category :( .so the whole day i kept thinkin about it. then after long thinking session , i came to a point i really need to get an alternative , so i planned on to study for MBA myself , as hard as i can , an will try at it and c if i belong there or not .

Imperceptible News Channel

In earlier days when we only had Doordarshan news telecast was done 2-3 times a day only . Then came the time we all had cable T.V's, then came 24x7 news channels, and then now is the time where we are having hundreds of news channel. India is a country where if one thing works everyone will start doing the same. Firstly we had saas bahu serials, when saas bahu serials became a hit, now we must be having around thousand's of saas bahu serials on air, sometimes i feel no other show exists on tv other than these saab bahu one's. then came reality shows one became a hit we had a flurry of reality show, and now the so called news channel where they have no news to show except those meager half hour show which they call news. Everything is becoming a business now days and starting a news channel is one of them. For instance more then 95% of the channel don't even know what is the definition of breaking news ,well actually breaking news means interrupting the existing news/report/show which is being telecast, to show the latest, eagerly awaited, more important, sensational etc. developments. Now you all tell me if prince fell in that pit does is qualifies for a breaking news , OK leave this one, if kareena is going out with saif does that qualifies for a breaking news. well there are thousands of instances which i can write over here , but its better if not written. Well the only news channel worth watching is Ndtv news channels and the DD News, they keep there news to the point they don't go dedicating the whole show to a single rotten news like many news channels like AAJ TAK, INDIA TV, LIVE INDIA , SAHARA etc do.Leave the news have you heard there reporters they don;t even know how to report look at the questions they are asking in the interviews for eg. they are asking vivek oberoi "sir what do you say about sanjay dutt and manyata's marriage " what can vivek do in this , was he the pandit who got them married. totally ridiculous, and various news channel who claim to be 24 hours Hindi news channel use most of the English words in there news , whereas NDTV INDIA is an exception. If you ever see this type of news channel do notice the headlines they are displaying on there news channel under breaking news for instances when sanjay dutt and manyata got into problem regarding there marriage aaj tak was flashing , breaking news quoting sanjay dutt saying " Manyata meri hai" now what will you call this, news channels can't get any more cheap then this. For that matter take the case of the Arushi Murder Case, well that 13 year old girl died and they are flashing the news that "Arushi had an illicit relation ship with her servant because her father had and affair with her colleague, so she had a relationship with her servant"and which girl will have an relationship at an age of 13, please at least don't talk about that girl now she's dead, was she competing with her dad that you got into a relationship so i will also indulge in one, and who are they to say this about a girl and that to on public television , these channels don;t even think once before saying all these kind of stuff. OH sorry i forgot the great khali, Ohh god ,he has dominated the news channel for over a year now, firstly when he was in America fighting in wwe we just used to get a glimpse of him on T.V , when he came back to India all we got to see on news channel was THE GREAT KHALI and nothing else and things like what he likes to eat , what he does in his free time, how he proposed to his wife, man what do we have to do with all this stuff, it his life. These news channel have a very bad habit of making a inappreciable news a national issue . well nobody can stop them for doing all this stuff as they have right to speech, they can say whatever they want. Well the only way to get rid of this is to stop watching these cheap news channels, that's the only way i could think of, because i think they'll not stop showing thee cheap news to us and on top of that they'll start another hundred's of more news channel in coming years.
